Raymundo "El Ray" Javier is a twenty-one-year-old unemployed, high school dropout. When El Ray was young he discovered that he could put people into a deep sleep and enter their dreams. He often used this power to get information from both enemies and friends. At first, El Ray thought he was the only one who could do those types of things, until he discovered that his kid brother and his own girlfriend had dream powers of their own. They were discovered by William Lowe and asked to join him in looking for others just like them. All three declined.

Dream Walking and Sleep Inducement- Raymundo Javier is a Dream Walker with the unique ability to lull people or animals to sleep, he can also enter their dreams while they are asleep, his other dream powers include:
- High-Speed Regeneration-While in the Dream Realm, El Ray can heal rapidly from minor to serious injuries.
- Enhanced Strength, Speed, and Durability-While in the Dream Realm, El Ray can exert great strength from his muscles, move at supernatural speeds, and can withstand copious amounts of damage.
- Expert Combatant-While in the Dream Realm, El Ray is an expert in hand-to-hand combat.
- Yin/Yang Manipulation- El Ray has another unique dream power, he has the ability to make people ethically good or immorally evil, this includes:
- Lightside View- El Ray can force a person to see the good side of his/her own soul.
- Darkside View- El Ray can force a person to see the evil side of his/her own soul.
- Telepathy- While in the Dream Realm, El Ray can read the minds of others.
